Terms of Service

RepostX ("RepostX", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Brian Reynolds doing business as Talented Icons. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of RepostX: your public link-in-bio page, connected-platform reposting tools, and the Shop feature for selling paid content (together, the "Service").

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use RepostX (16 if you're in the EEA/UK, unless you have verifiable parental consent — see our Privacy Policy). You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and you must not be barred from using the Service under the laws of the United States or any other applicable jurisdiction. If you're using RepostX on behalf of a business or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

3. Your account

  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date.
  • You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • One account per person or entity; don't create accounts to evade a suspension or ban.
  • Your username becomes part of your public page URL (repostx.com/username) — choose one you have the right to use, and don't impersonate another person or brand.
  • Notify us promptly at brian@talentedicons.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. Acceptable use & prohibited content

You agree not to use RepostX to post, upload, sell, link to, or otherwise distribute content that:

  • Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise adult/NSFW material of any kind — RepostX is a strictly safe-for-work (SFW) platform, with zero exceptions, including in the Shop feature.
  • Infringes anyone else's copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other intellectual property or legal rights — you must own the content or hold all rights necessary to post, repost, and (if applicable) sell it.
  • Is illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or promotes illegal activity.
  • Harasses, threatens, bullies, or incites violence against any person or group.
  • Contains malware, spam, or attempts to manipulate or abuse the Service (e.g. fake engagement, scraping, automated account creation).
  • Violates the terms of service, community guidelines, or content policies of any platform you connect through RepostX (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Impersonates any person or entity, or misrepresents your affiliation with one.

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts, at our discretion and without prior notice, if we reasonably believe this section has been violated. See Section 9.

5. Your content & the license you grant us

You retain full ownership of everything you post, upload, or connect through RepostX — your links, bio, photos, videos, and any content you sell through Shop (together, "Your Content"). RepostX does not claim any ownership over Your Content.

To operate the Service, you grant RepostX a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely as necessary to: show your public profile page to visitors, list your own videos for you to choose from, and publish reposts to the destination platforms and schedule you set. This license ends when you remove the specific content, disconnect the relevant platform, or delete your account (subject to the retention exceptions in our Privacy Policy, e.g. completed Shop transaction records).

You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having all rights necessary to post and repost it on each destination platform.

6. Connected platforms

RepostX connects to TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram via their official APIs and OAuth. When you connect a platform, you authorize RepostX to access and act on your behalf within the scope of the permissions you grant (detailed in our Privacy Policy). You can disconnect any platform at any time from the Content tab, or revoke access directly from that platform's own account settings. Your use of each connected platform remains fully subject to that platform's own terms of service — see Section 8.

7. Shop, payments & refunds

RepostX's Shop feature lets creators sell direct unlocks of their own content (photos, videos, or files) to buyers.

  • Content standards. Everything sold through Shop must comply with Section 4 in full — strictly SFW, no adult/NSFW content, and you must own it or hold all rights necessary to sell and distribute it. We may remove any item, at any time, that we reasonably believe violates this policy or infringes someone else's rights, without notice.
  • Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe via Stripe Connect. When you sell through Shop, you're also agreeing to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's own terms. We never see or store buyers' card details.
  • Fees. RepostX charges a platform fee on each sale, deducted automatically from the sale price (the current rate is shown in your Shop dashboard before you publish a paid item). The remainder is paid out to you via Stripe Connect on Stripe's normal payout schedule.
  • The transaction is between you and the buyer. RepostX facilitates and processes the transaction but is not a party to the underlying sale.
  • Refunds & chargebacks. Refund eligibility for a given sale is up to the creator, communicated to the buyer directly; any refund is processed through Stripe. If a buyer files a chargeback with their bank, Stripe handles the dispute process, and the disputed amount (plus any Stripe dispute fee) may be deducted from the creator's balance or a future payout.
  • Taxes. You're responsible for determining and remitting any taxes owed on your sales. RepostX doesn't calculate, collect, or file taxes on your behalf.

8. Third-party platform terms

Your use of platforms you connect through RepostX remains subject to each platform's own terms, in addition to these Terms:

We are not responsible for changes, outages, API deprecations, or policy enforcement on those platforms that affect RepostX's functionality — including a platform revoking, throttling, or rejecting API access to RepostX or to your account.

9. Termination

You may stop using RepostX and delete your account at any time from the Account tab — this is immediate and permanent, with no recovery period (see our Privacy Policy).

We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service, at our discretion and with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you've violated these Terms (particularly Section 4), created risk or legal exposure for us, or if required by law or by a connected platform's enforcement action. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law) will survive.

10. Disclaimers

RepostX is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that scheduled reposts will always succeed, that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any connected platform will continue to make its API available to us. You use the Service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Talented Icons and Brian Reynolds will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service — including lost content, lost revenue from Shop sales, or account actions taken by third-party platforms — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total platform fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) $100 USD.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Talented Icons and Brian Reynolds from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: Your Content, your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights (including intellectual property rights and any connected platform's terms of service).

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as RepostX changes. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of RepostX after a change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you don't agree to a change, stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

15. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and RepostX regarding the Service, and supersede any prior agreements. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision isn't a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
